HOW TO PREP
For the best results, exfoliate your skin two days before your appointment. No need to exfoliate the day of, the sugaring process itself gently exfoliates the skin for you
Try to come in with clean, dry skin. Skip lotions, oils, or deodorant beforehand so the sugar can adhere properly.
If you're feeling a little nervous or sensitive, some clients choose to take an over-the-counter pain reliever about 20-30 minutes before their appointment. Avoid caffeine or alcohol that day, as it can make the skin more sensitive.
Take a few deep breaths and relax. You're in good hands :)
POST CARE
Start exfoliating about two days after your appointment to help prevent ingrown hairs and keep your skin feeling soft. Gentle exfoliation a few times a week helps clear buildup and allows the hair to grow back properly.
Keeping your skin hydrated is just as important. Moisturizing daily supports healthy, smooth results.
For the first 24 hours, try to avoid anything that could irritate the skin like heavy sweating or working out, pools, hot tubs, saunas, or sun exposure, and applying lotions, oils, deodorant, or fragrance to the area.
Skip shaving between appointments. This helps keep your results consistent and your hair growing back softer over time.
With a little consistency, your skin will stay smoother, softer, and beautifully maintained.
